QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION
Live freeze dried vaccine containing ≥10^5.0TCID₅₀ Double Gene-negative Mutant of Pseudorabies Virus per dose.
DESCRIPTION
A milky or yellow spongy gobbet. It can be disengaged from the bottle easily and melted rapidly in diluent.
ACTION AND USE
The vaccine is used for active immunization of healthy pigs against disease caused by Pseudorabies virus.
ADMINISTRATION
The vaccine can be administered by intranasal or intramuscular administration. Measure the correct volume of the special diluent for the number of pigs to be vaccinated according to doses of vials. Piglets should be immunized 0.5ml at first injection.
Recommended immunization schedule：intranasal or intramuscular immunization in PRV antibody-negative piglets of one-week-old; intramuscular immunization in piglets with PRV maternal antibodies; the breeding sows should be vaccinated every 4 months; the gilt sows should be intramuscular injected at 6 month old and the booster immunization should be 1 month later, also the third immunization should be 1 month before confinement. Boars should be immunized every 4 months.
ADVERSE REACTION
Vaccination with the vaccine may generally not induce adverse reactions.
PRECAUTIONS
Carefully check before use. Do not use the vaccine when there is demulsification, discoloration or cracks in bottle.
Vaccinate only healthy pigs.
The vaccine should be used within 2 hours after dissolved.
Disinfect the used instruments and containers along with the leftover vaccines.
