Qian Ping, Ph.D, Postdoctor, Prof., Tutor of master students.Doc.Qian got his doctor’s degree in 2003 from Huazhong Agriculture University and become an associate professor in the collage of veterinary medicine. He has operated or participated in over 10 research programs. There are 9 projects in research now, such as the National Plan for Breakthrough of S&T, the Science Fund for Chinese Postdoctor, the Provincial Plan for Breakthrough of S&T, the Provincial Natural Science Fund, etc. In the recent three years, he has published over 30 papers on the national or international academic journals, including Vaccine, virus Genes, Chinese Journal of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He has been invited to many internal or whole national academic meetings and awarded several national or provincial prizes for Excellent Thesis. His research covers the mechanism of infection and immunization, antiviral therapy, new genetic engineering vaccines and diagnostic reagents of some RNA virus. The Foot-and-Mouth disease, Swine Fever, Japanese Encephalitis Virus, Influenza virus, People’s Respiratory Syncytial Virus are all involved in his research.
